Doula

To me birth is sacred. A welcome ceremony. An initiation. A transformation into parenthood.

Ever since giving birth to our daughter Alia, where I got to experiencing and feel the beautiful support of my doula and teacher Susannah Rickman, it has been something that my heart has been longing for to offer to other women. 

 

As a doula, I want you to feel held, seen, supported, safe, loved and empowered. I will be there, fully present throughout the entire birth process, before, during and after birth. Offering you spiritual, emotional, physical and mental support. I use tools such as Föda utan rädsla, active baby, mindfulness, yoga, Reiki and breathing techniques.

 

I believe in your body, I believe in YOU and your capability to give birth to your baby on your terms. 

 

My goal is to help facilitate the birth your heart is longing for.

Doula Services

With Josephine

During an initial free of charge meeting via FaceTime, you have the opportunity to ask all your questions, and a chance to feel if I am the right match for you.  

 

My doula services are available in the Stockholm area and I welcome Swedish and English speaking women and couples.

Pregnancy and Birth doula 

 

  • Ongoing contact over email and phone.

  • 2 in-person meetings (5 hours in total), where we unpack the meaning of birth for you, I share information, tools and you have a chance to ask questions, share feelings and thoughts. The content of these meetings are based on your individual needs.

  • 24h on-call, from 1 week before your estimated due date until your birth.

  • Continuous doula support during birth. 

  • A back-up doula (used in case of sickness or unexpected emergencies only).

  • One post-birth visit in the first week after birth, and a digital follow up call after about 6 weeks.

In addition to the Pregnancy and Birth doula package you can add the following:

Private pregnancy yoga 700 sek 

Reiki healing 750 kr

Private sound healing 750 sek 

Mother Blessing Ceremony 3500 kr (ink ceremonial cacao) 

 

Pregnancy and Birth doula + 

 

Includes everything in the previous package and the following:

 

One 60 min Reiki treatment 

One 60 min pregnancy yoga 

 

Mother Blessing Ceremony (a sacred ceremony to honor the transition into motherhood and preparation for birth. Each ceremony is specifically created based on the mother and her wishes. For more info, please contact me at contact@innerpatience.com) 

 

If you wish to exchange Reiki healing or pregnancy yoga for a Sound Healing session, we can of course arrange that.

Birth preparation workshop (Profylax) 

​

  • A 3 hour (or more depending on your wants and needs) in-person preparation workshop (1:1 or couple), where we unpack the meaning of birth for you. We go through your dreams, fears, worries around birth, medical pain relief, hospital routines, Föda utan rädsla and other tools, active baby, förlossningsbrev, birth positions and a lot more. You have a chance to ask questions, share feelings and thoughts.

  • I do home visits or if you prefer to come to our place, Björkarö.

  • This service is available in Swedish and English.
