Our little oasis, Björkarö is located on this wonderful island Mörkö, only 45 min from Stockholm. A harmonious place surrounded by trees, forest, big fields, the ocean and an abundance of wildlife. This is your home away from home. A perfect place if you are looking for something close to Stockholm city but also close to nature and stillness. A home where you can come and relax, recover, re-charge, heal, move and just be. Works perfectly for retreats, workshops, ceremonies, trainings and creating unforgettable memories.

The space 

Björkarö is a 400 sqm house with 2 double rooms, 5 rooms which sleeps 4 people, in total 24 beds. Every room has been carefully decorated and planned in a way that supports your healing journey and invokes calmness inside. Each room has its own character, but we wanted a feeling of Bali meets a touch of Scandinavia. Simplicity combined with softness and warmth. We have a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms (2 showers), a big living room along with other social areas, 5 fireplaces, a 50 sqm yoga studio on the second floor and a 9000 sqm lush garden. There are plenty of trails and nature walks to explore and the beautiful “Grevens Bad” is only 5 min away by car. 

 

Inner Patience 

If you wish to combine your stay with some of our offerings, we are happy to arrange this. We offer different types of yoga, meditation, sound healing, cacao ceremony, kirtan, breathwork, group Reiki and ecstatic dance. Please get in touch for more info and enquiries. 

 

If you wish to hire someone to help with the food, we can of course arrange this. We focus on tasty vegetarian cuisine.
